If a company has a salary sacrifice pension, a "deduction" wont affect the pension calculation. We have to put a minus amount on the "Payments" side. i.e. unpaid leave. Adding this feature would look better on an employee payslip as the deduction will be in the "deduction" column, not the "payment" column.
