At the moment the SSP calculation does not work for casual employees who do not work every week. As the SSP rules are changing from April to pay SSP from day 1 and to pay at least 80% to everyone, we are expecting our SSP claims to increase dramatically.
We therefore have to manually calculate SSP for casuals.
Can the SSP calculator be improved so that casual employees SSP can be calculated correctly if they have missing weeks when they are on hold.
Totally agree needs to be looked at so you can change qualifying days for each week worked and then gives you a total for the month.
We have staff that have different days off every week (not on a pattern) and cannot use the SSP facility when absent odd days different weeks
