It would be useful in lots of ways, it would help processing payroll, give information about how many employees are on each payroll, you could filter and then see how many leavers you had, or how many males/females for Gender Pay Gap. We find it frustrating that there does not seem to be anywhere that tells you how many employees there are, we have multiple payrolls with over 250 employees on 3 of them, so it would be really handy to see and compare against a counter at the bottom of the screen, telling us how many highlighted employees we have selected, and how many are on the payroll file we are processing. It would be a really useful tool.
